Blood Oranges
A currently defunct alternative rock band with strong country roots. If you love “Cowboy Junkies,” dig up some of their old releases. “Corn River” 
is the only album I’ve been able to dig up, although I’ve heard good things about “The Crying Tree.”
“River” has a high percentage of “keepers,” songs that make that transitory list of favorites. Their version of “Shady Grove” is definitive. “Incinerator” is a swinging lot of fun, as is “Baby Down.”
