WTF is Horror?
What makes a horror story different from, say, dark fantasy?
I like the standby definition of “Horror is when bad things happen to good people.”
Gothic horror often came with a moral, generally: don’t break social norms. Odd that “Goth” is now someone who has chosen to be outside of social norms or even in defiance of them.
